If you need an excuse to drink some good beer, the launch of Beers for Books in Boston puts your beer money towards a good cause.
On April 7th (next Wednesday for those keeping score) the North Star Music Cafe is hosting a reading titled Heroic Tales from Portland. The event, put on by local women’s writers group 306 Reasons, is a free reading of short stories from local authors. Writers include Solange Kellerman, Sarah Franklin, Patty Ryan, Julie Vohs and Marty Pottenger, and the free event begins at 7PM on the 7th.
